The Indian Coast Guard Assistant commandant has blazoned the announcement for CPL- SSA, Technical and Law for the 2023 Batch on its sanctioned website- joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in. Interested campaigners can apply online for the post from September 01, 2023, to September 15, 2023.
The main part of the officers in the Indian Coast Guard is to cover the marine borders of the country and help in the deliverance of people at ocean. The two major entries to the ICG are: 1) Officer’s entry and 2) Sailor’s entry.

AGE LIMIT SET.
To be eligible for the ICGAC, a seeker must be between the periods of 20 to 24 times. The age relaxations handed are given below:
PROCESS OF APPLICATION FOR THE POST.
Campaigners can check the ICG operation. The Process include:
Step 1: Go to the sanctioned website for ICG Assistant Commandant Recruitment.
Step 2: Elect the post you want to apply for, going into the directed runner on the announcement handed at the sanctioned website.
Step 3: The runner now will display the operation form for the post you chose.
Step 4: Fill in all your educational details and particular details. Recheck for any miscalculations.
Step 5: Submit the form and pay the operation figure.
Step 6: Publish out the operation form formerly completed, for any unborn applicability.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED.
To apply for the ICGAC test, one should have the minimal qualifications as asked by the conducting board. This include:
1) Having a Bachelor’s degree issued by a sanctioned university. The degree should show the seeker having at least 60% total marks in the Bachelor’s pursued.
2) A mandatory combination of subjects in class 12th for (10 + 2 + 3) is also necessary. The subject combination made mandatory is Mathematics with Physics. The aggregate marks necessary are 55 in drugs and Mathematics combined. Campaigners lacking drugs and Mathematics as their subjects in Class 12th aren’t eligible for GD (General Duty).
SELECTION PROCESS.
The pattern of the test includes five important stages. These stages are:
Stage 1: Primary Selection Board.
Stage 2: Final Selection Board.
Stage 3: Medical test.
Stage 4: Induction.
Stage 5: The webbing is conducted in a computer- grounded mode.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs).
1) CAN GIRLS APPLY FOR ICG AC?
– Womanish campaigners can only apply for Law Entry and Commercial Pilot Licence (SSA) branches under the Assistant Commandant post. Other branches will only accept operations from manly campaigners.
2) IS ICG AND NAVY SAME?
– The Indian Navy is primarily stationed to defend the territorial waters of India during war or related operations. On the other hand, the Indian Coast Guard undertakes conditioning related to the forestallment of smuggling and performing hunt and deliverance operations at ocean, in addition to law enforcement at ocean.
